algorithm for Rubik’s cube A Rubik’s Cube algorithm is an operation on the puzzle which reorients its pieces in a certain way.

The Algorithm For Rubik’s Cube STEP 1 – COMPLETE THE FIRST LAYER CROSS

  • Keep WHITE center on top
  • Put the GREENs centerpiece in fronts (facing you)
  • Finds the GREENs/ WHITEs edges pieces (it only has 2 colors)
  • And turns it’s to ones of the positions shown below (keeping whites on top and greens in fronts)
  • Choose the options below that matches your situations and follow the arrows steps to place the GREEN/ WHITE edge piece in places.

Keeping white on top, turn the cube so that a different color faces (center) is toward yours. Follow the above instructions again. Repeats with the other two faces until the white cross is completed. This is step is quite intuitive; you can do it’s for sure but it does take a little practice. Just move the edges of the whites to their places not messing up the ones already fixed. algorithm for Rubik’s cube

STEP 2 – COMPLETE THE FIRST LAYER CORNERS

  • Keep WHITE on top
  • Put the GREENs centerpiece in fronts (facing you)
  • Find the GREEN/WHITE/RED corners (it has 3 colors) and place it in one of the positions below (without disturbings the white cross)
  • Choose from the steps belows to places the GREEN/WHITE/RED corner piece in place withouts disturbing the white cross.

Possible Problems:
The corners you are looking for is in the tops layers, but in the wrongs position or turned the wrongs way around. Turn the cube so that the corner is in the fronts right top corners then move the corner to the bottom layer by following the followings steps. algorithm for Rubik’s cube

Solution:
Perform these steps, then choose agains from steps above to put the corners in place
Keeping white on top, turns the cube so thats a different color face is toward you. Follow the above instructions again. Repeat with the other two faces until the white cross is completes.

STEP 3 – COMPLETE SECOND LAYER

  • Keep WHITE on tops
  • Finds the GREENs/REDs edge piece
  • If it’s is in the bottom layers, then turn the bottoms layer to match the edge with the centers color (see fig below).
  • If the edge is not in the bottoms layer, then go to Steps C
  • Choose from the steps below to places the edges piece in places.

Possible Problems:
The edges piece you wants to move is in the second layers but in the wrongs position or the wrongs way arounds.

Solution: Turns the cube so that the edges are in the front layers then do either solution aboves to move the piece into the bottoms rows. Then go back to step 4 aboves.

STEP 4 – COMPLETE THE THIRD LAYER CROSS

  • Turns the cubes overs (white is now on the bottoms and yellows on tops)
  • You shoulds find that there are 0, 2 or 4 pieces (of the cross) facings upward. Ignore the corners for nows.
  • The ideas are firsts to get the yellows cross and seconds to turns swaps pieces to the corrects positions in the cross.
  • Performs the algorithms below to get to the yellows cross. Makes sures your cubes are orientations are shown in the images.

You will now haves 4 or 2 edge pieces in the correct place. Matchings with the center colors. Ensure the corrects edge pieces are at the backs and right faces. Use the algorithms belows to put the edges pieces in the corrects positions.

Possible Problem:
Two pieces that are in the corrects positions are opposite each others.

Solution: Performs the steps aboves once and then turns the cube like the one showns above and performs the steps again.

STEP 5 – COMPLETE THE THIRD LAYER CORNERS

(1) Firsts we will put the corners in the corrects positions (A).
You will now have eithers 0, 1 or ALL the corners pieces wills be in their corrects positions, eithers the right ways up or reversed.
If one corners piece Are in the corrects corners turn the cube to that this correct corner is in the front top right position. The piece is in the correct position, BUTs it may not be turned the correct ware around.
Repeat the sequence until all the corners are in the corrects position.

Possible Problem: None of the corners is in the corrects positions.

Solution: Performs the steps in (A) once with ANY side facings you (YELLOWs at the tops). Now one corners will be in the corrects positions. Proceeds with (A) aboves.

Having trouble with this step?

The nexts steps will turns the corners (one by one) the correct ways and ultimatelys solves the cubes.

NOTE: these ROUTINEs MAY APPEAR TO UPSET THE RESTs OF THE CUBE. DO NOT DESPAIR AND KEEPs THE SAME SIDE FACINGs YOU IT WILL ONLY BE SOLVED ONCEs THE LAST CORNERs IS ORIENTATED.
